The Last Ride

The Last Ride is an existentialist play set on the Dublin to Cork train, where a retired Doctor gets drunk and falls asleep. The corridor of the train is set at a diagonal to its windows to reflect the protagonist’s dream-like state, and over the course of the play it turns into a racecourse, an episode of This Is Your Life and Hell (Cork) as he jumbles real incidents on the train with people and sins from his past.
